Privacy
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously and we strictly abide by regulations on data protection. The following privacy policy will give you an overview if how we guarantee this protection, as well as which type of data is used for which purposes.
1. Accessing our website
Every time our homepage or one of the files on our homepage is accessed, this is logged. The following information is saved:
- Browser type/version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL (previously visited site)
- Message regarding whether access was successful or whether there were any errors or denied access (e.g. hacker attacks)
- Host name for the computer accessing the site (IP address)
- Amount of data transferred
- Name of the file retrieved, date and time of the retrieval
Information is stored for statistical and system-related (trouble-free operation, safety) purposes. We are not able to match these data with individuals. These data are not combined with any other sources of data and they are deleted after statistical assessment.
The legal basis for storing and processing your personal data is Art. 6(1), page 1, lit f of the GDPR.
Furthermore, we use Google Analytics in order to analyse the data collected in an improved graphic form (for more information, please refer to 5.2 Google Analytics).
1.1 Encrypted transfer
When data are being transferred, an encrypted link is created via SSL (https). This protects your data against
unauthorised access.
1.2 Protection of minors
Minors are not part of our target audience. We do not knowingly collect or store data from minors. Those under
the age of 16 should not send us any personal data without consent from their parents or parental guardians.
2. Cookies
We use cookies on our website. They help to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure.
Our cookie
We use a cookie in order to hide the cookie message which appears on your screen when you first visit the site.
This takes place after you have acknowledged the message and for the entire time you are browsing the site. When
you close your browser (Edge, Chrome, Firefox etc.), the cookie is deleted.
We also use a cookie if you choose to employ the opt-out function in order to disable Google Analytics (please
refer to item 5.1).
External Cookies
Cookies are also used by Google if you allow to use Google Analytics (please refer to item 5.)
3. Contact form
If you enter your details into the contact form, we will save this information in order to process your query, as well as to contact you. After your query has been dealt with, we will delete your information unless we have a legal obligation to store it (e.g. for an ensuring business relation/order).
4. Social Media
Our website includes the option to “Share” pages. By clicking on the button, a link to the provider’s site is generated and data are transmitted. Please refer to the relevant Privacy Policy to find out how that provider processes your data.
We do not use social plug-ins.
5. Google
We use the Google service „Google Analytics“ on our website. If you agree to the use of the function, data will be transmitted to Google.

5.1 Google Analytics
„This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). IP anonymisation
We use the Google function “anonymizelp” in order to abbreviate IP address. Google describes the function as follows:
“The IP anonymisation function, part of the Google Analytics service, sets the last octet in type IPv4 user
IP addresses, and the last 80 bits for IPv6 addresses, to zeros shortly after they have been sent to the Analytics
data collection network. As such, full IP addresses are never written to the hard drive.”

If you allow Google Analytics, a cookie is stored on your device. If you delete the cookie or visit our site with another device or browser, you will need to repeat the process.
6. OpenStreetMap
We use the OpenStreetMap map service on our website to display maps such as directions. Only when you activate the map function on the site does your browser establish a direct connection to the OpenStreetMap servers and data is transmitted (e.g. your IP address). 7. Applications, applicant data
Applicant data (e.g. name, contact information, CV and certificates) are saved for the duration of the selection process. Data are processed as per art. 6(1), lit. B of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) (pre-contractual action) and art. 6(1), lit. f of the GDPR (legitimate interests). If an applicant gives their consent, we will save their data for future processes until further notice. Data are never passed on to third parties.
8. Your rights - Your data
At any time, you have the right to know:
- the origin of your data
- who receives your data
- why your data are being stored
as well as the right to:
- amend your data
- data portability
- withdraw your data
- block your data
- delete your data
Your data and the right to appeal to supervisory authorities.
9. Changes to the Privacy Policy
We shall reserve the right to modify our website and Privacy Policy, e.g. due to changes in legislation and/or to introduce new functionalities. If you visit our website after changes have been made, the current version of the Privacy Policy shall apply.
